The Global Six Sigma Awards 2007 Final Entry Deadline June 22nd, 2007

The final deadline for entries to The Global Six Sigma Awards 2007 program – www.tgssa.com is fast approaching.

Entries are invited from organizations across the globe who are implementing Six Sigma methodologies to secure business improvement. WCBF – Six Sigma Solutions are providers of extensively researched, high-quality Six Sigma conferences.

The Global Six Sigma Awards’ key objective is to identify the most outstanding business achievements through the application of Six Sigma. The focus of this unique Awards program is not on the process of Six Sigma itself, but on the organizational success achieved through the adoption of Six Sigma.

The Awards program will be judged by an independent panel of Six Sigma experts led by Mike Richman, Publisher of Quality Digest.

The focus is to provide an elite Awards program that will demonstrate to the global business community the real results and excellence which many organizations are achieving through the successful implementation of Six Sigma.

Sponsors of the Awards include Media Partner, Quality Digest and Premium sponsor Genpact.

Entries are now invited for the nine organizational categories including:
• Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Manufacturing
• Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Service & Transactional Environments
• Best Achievement of Integrating Lean and Six Sigma
• Best Achievement of Design for Six Sigma and Innovation
• Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Healthcare
• Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Financial Services
• Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Government & Defense
• Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Sales and Marketing
• Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Outsourcing
Two special Awards will be given to the most outstanding entries received in any of the organizational categories:

• Platinum Award – the Most Outstanding Global Organizational Achievement through Six Sigma – sponsored by Genpact
• Best Use of Six Sigma by a Small Organization

The other two premium categories are CEO of the Year Award and Six Sigma VP of the Year.

The CEO of the Year Award will be given to the CEO, who through his/her championship of Six Sigma, has achieved outstanding organizational success.

The Six Sigma VP of the Year Award will be given to the person who has, through the successful deployment of Six Sigma methodologies, delivered the most outstanding result for their organization.

The Global Six Sigma Awards are open to all companies, both private and public sector, across the globe. Entries to The Global Six Sigma Awards program should be for one large significant impact Six Sigma project or a series of multiple small projects which demonstrate how Six Sigma excellence is being deployed within the organization.

Each entry will be judged on the merits of the program implementation and results achieved against the organisation’s strategic objectives. The full guidelines and rules of entry and the online entry form can be found at www.tgssa.com

The final deadline for entries is 11.59pm (PST) on Friday June 22nd 2007.
The winning Awards will be presented at The Global Six Sigma Awards Gala Dinner on Wednesday 24 October 2007 at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas. The Gala Dinner coincides with WCBF’s Global Six Sigma Summit, the largest gathering of CEOs and Senior Executives passionate about Six Sigma.
